Over the summer I teamed up with my friend Darlene Hildebrandt who runs the popular website Digital Photo Mentor, to develop an online course for photographers. Both Darlene & I teach photography at the Burwell School of Photography and wanted to develop an online video course to help photographers learn how to do portrait lighting on location using both available light and flash. This course is now available and features over 6 hours of video instruction and over 240 pages of downloadable notes. The course also includes quizzes with each lesson to help you to evaluate your comprehension of the material. There is also a private Flickr group where you can share your results and discuss them with other photographers.
